Hey y'all - we're back on dolls today.

Like many little girls in the early 2000s, I was a frequent watcher of the Powerpuff Girls, so when I saw these on the shelf at my local Target, I had to snatch them up. I have a handful of LOL OMG dolls in my collection, so I had a pretty good idea of the quality before I opened them up.

The episode where the Powerpuff Girls were teens was one of my favorites as a child - I love when cartoons age up their characters and give them different designs.

I like that the dolls kept the essence of these outfits while taking some artistic liberties. I will say, I like Buttercup's doll outfit much better than her cartoon counterpart. I do wish Blossom's doll had the single strap, off the shoulder top instead of the ruffly blouse they gave her. I do, however, like the tank top aspect of the top without the sleeves. Bubbles is chefs kiss as always (she's always been my favorite).

Do you remember when the girls were turned into dogs?

Wouldn't it have been so cute to have the girls have their little dog versions as pets?

Another thing that I'd like to see different if they ever continue future iterations of the PPG dolls is having their purple eyelids showing. Without it, Bubbles looks a little cross eyed and it's a little funny to glance at every now and then. Truthfully, if they kept the eyes as is, wouldn't it make more sense for Blossom to have forward facing eyes since she's in the middle with Buttercup and Bubbles glancing to the side towards her? Just a thought.

Anyway, if you can get your hands on these, I highly recommend them! The bodies are sturdy, the hair is nice and soft, and the clothes are good quality. They even come with glittery stands in their respective colors!
