Mooncat Review: Nail Polish Like You've Never Seen

Howdy! I'm finally done with my Master's degree so I'm back with a mooncat nail polish review!

The Purchase
You've all seen it. Instagram reels and Tiktoks of these beautiful, shimmery, sparkly nails in every color of the rainbow and then some. After months of seeing these beautiful polishes (conveniently right after I've decided to kick my very expensive and damaging gel nail habit), I decided to buy some. Two big orders of every color I could possibly conceive of later, the polishes are sitting nicely on my shelf in their little coffin tray.
The Polish
When the packages arrived, they were neatly packed with eight polishes fitting in each smaller box. They were delicately packaged and very secure.
The colors were stunning. I lined them up in front of me and spent an embarrassingly long amount of time trying to pick which color I wanted to try first. I decided on A Midsummer's Dream.

One coat and I was hooked. It was gorgeous and the color payoff from one swipe was fantastic. Now every five to six days, I'm trying a new color. This ritual has been so good for my mental health and relaxation, especially after a very busy semester capping off my entire graduate school career.
The Nail Polish Review
The colors are gorgeous. The smell wasn't overpowering like some brands can be, and it wasn't super runny, either. It's definitely a polish you can control and it applies evenly.
However, I will warn you that Merkitten came out a little chunky on the brush. This might be due to the fluctuating Midwest weather during shipping. Despite this, at around $16 per bottle, these polishes are well worth the price!
If you're looking for a nail polish that's beautiful and durable, look no further than mooncat!
Thanks for reading! I hope you found this review helpful. Happy polishing!
